I appreciate Hogan and Vince for what they've done for pro wrestling. They were a huge part of my childhood and teenage years, but it's still fukk them!
If anything, both their deaths will probably be like the end of Return of the Jedi where everybody celebrating šŸŽŠ.

Taz, Sabu, RVD, Sandman = ECW Rushmore

Franchise, Dudley Boyz, New Jack= Secondary

No Dreamer?

Dreamer is in the conversation, but definitely on that fourth spot that you could argue for a few....

got it like this,

locked in- RVD
locked in- Sandman
locked in- Sabu

pick one - Dreamer/New Jack/Dudley's/Shane Douglas/Taz

Personally I would put Raven in the 4th spot

Raven definitely needs to be in the mix of that Mount Rushmore. It's insane that it took this long for him, and I'll add in Terry Funk as well, to be mentioned.

I just watched his last match and it was wild. Dude is just out of his mind throughout the match; he was constantly talking (inaudible to the feed). After his intro he grabs the mic and says something that can’t be really heard. Toward the end of the match Joey tossed a chair at him and he just blocked it and randomly went up to hug Joey.

He won the match and didn’t want his hand raise. It wasn’t the usual Sabu we’ve seen and it’s pretty surreal to see him act this way knowing he dies a few weeks later.

The bumps seen in clips were the only rough ones he took. He also took an unprotected chair shot to the head that looked a little ugly.

ā€œWe are an hour into the show and I said, ā€˜Just get Sabu here,’" Janela continued. "So they gave him something called kratom. You can buy it at a smoke shop or something; it’s like a legal opiate or something. They said, ā€˜He's hopping on the bed, he's hopping off the bed, and we're going to get him to the show.’ So he shows up two hours into the show. Sabu was on a different f***ing planet. Everyone in the backstage was like, ā€˜What the f***? Is this match going to happen?’ And my God, did it happen.ā€

Janela goes on to talk about the match like it was a good thing and Sabu got to go out on his own terms while they literally pumped him full of drugs because he couldn't walk earlier in the day and then takes horrific bumps that probably helped kill him. Disgusting.

just read that. He's a certified carny piece of shyt.

ā€œEverything that happened in that match, happened for a reason,ā€ Janela told Uncrowned on Sunday. ā€œI'm just happy GCW gave him the platform in front of a sold-out house, to have that moment and be Sabu for one last time. He's one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, one of the greatest innovators of all time. I'm just glad we were able to get it off. Regardless of the circumstances and the conditions that that day, he just made it happen and I know he was happy, and I'm happy, the fans were happy, his friends were happy — and I’m just glad we gave him this one last chance to shine in the spotlight.ā€
he's acting like he helped Sabu go out in a blaze of glory. No joey, you let a drug addict wrestler, get concussed, keep wrestling, and later die, related or not.

Joey Janela is basically everything wrong with the wrestling business.
