The genius of this promo was that he came down in basic street clothes/blue jeans, there was no mention of his name, zero ties to his Razor character, (except his voice and mannerisms) and spoke about "you wanna go to war?" Which many thought was WWF vs WCW. Vince got tight but the approach was genius. People were immediately glued in, including myself.
