This guy has got to be one of the most underrated drummers in history. It always put a smile on my face when the famous drum break comes on for Funky Drummer... let's not ignore all his other contributions too. He also played on several other classic James Brown tracks.

RIP to a straight legend, literally influenced millions of people and had a
direct hand in spawning the sound of a generation while being sampled for groups
like Public Enemy and copied by drummers in bands like "Rage Against The Machine".
I still haven't picked up a drum set but fukking believe when I do, it'll be to play like Mr. Stubblefield.
