He was killed in Kinloch, which is a municipality within St. Louis County not the city. It’s right next to Ferguson. Kinloch is one of the greatest examples of Suburban poor in the country. The average income for families is 10k a year. For comparison, Wildwood is also a municipality in St. Louis County but the average income is over 300k and the lifespan is 30x higher.

I won’t say what part of STL County my family is from but he was killed insanely close to where I grew up by my neighborhood was far safer. It only takes a few minutes and you’re in completely different worlds driving around STL county.

I wonder what he was doing there and if he had fallen on hard times?


Ladue is also an extremely wealthy part of STL and Missouri as a whole. It is only 15 minutes away from Kinloch.
