Jealousy and envy is a motherfukker especially in your own city
I see why people abandoned their neighborhoods, cities and states
I see why people abandoned their neighborhoods, cities and states
I always remember him from this video holdin' up his hitz commitee chain with his stl fitted on @2:52
RIP
He was killed in Kinloch, which is a municipality within St. Louis County not the city. It’s right next to Ferguson. Kinloch is one of the greatest examples of Suburban poor in the country. The average income for families is 10k a year. For comparison, Wildwood is also a municipality in St. Louis County but the average income is over 300k and the lifespan is 30x higher.
I won’t say what part of STL County my family is from but he was killed insanely close to where I grew up by my neighborhood was far safer. It only takes a few minutes and you’re in completely different worlds driving around STL county.
I wonder what he was doing there and if he had fallen on hard times?
Ladue is also an extremely wealthy part of STL and Missouri as a whole. It is only 15 minutes away from Kinloch.

It's starting to get like this in Houston city limits. The first time I experienced this was in LA went from mansions to Where you from and Where your momma and grandma stay.
Yeah I can see what you saying there are large neighborhoods and areas that can almost operate independently of Houston. I was telling my Louisiana homeboy about how big Greenspoint is and Acres Home with DMVs and post offices are.I was talking about the inner loop I'll be in 3rd ward @ my homies 3 story house while the duplex I stay in every other house is ratchet.Difference is today's Houston encompasses much more land than what it originally was when the city was founded, plotted, and incorporated.
Kinloch would be like if Independence Heights, Acres Homes, or Sunnyside was never annexed by the city of Houston.
But, there's still a few lil independent aados towns like that in the Houston area like Barrett Station & Kendleton.
