My bad, didn't know we weren't allowed those anymore :hubie:
I never said that people aren't allowed to have an opinion though, I simply said that yall make a thread about every opinion yall have. I personally don't think every thing that pops in my head deserves a conversation, but do you bro.

Nah.

I haven't heard circles yet, but I'd be willing to bet that it's probably not the best snapshot of Mac's music or appeal, I don't know if it was finished before he was dead or what.

But my thing with him is, I honestly feel like he is/was a prime candidate for a NBA-esque "most improved" trophy when it comes to where he started off as a rapper and where he ended up, which shows that he actually gave a fukk about his craft. I would go peep The Divine Feminine and a couple of albums before circles before you can make a judgement on him as an artist. His earlier stuff had me kinda passing on him as an artist but after a while I checked back in and noticed a lot of growth.

What is it about him that ppl liked? :what: I tried listening yo that Circles album and the shyt was just... I don't even know how to describe it.

facts

he had great production but he himself was beyond trash with the flow and nursery rhymes. In 5 years or so he'll be in top 10 discussion the way people be overrating his ass since that junkie dropped dead
