I just learned something new but I am aware of all the in-fighting within the gay community. The extremely effeminate men are looked down on by the masculine men. Blacks and whites don't get along. Lesbians and gay men don't get along.

Well, believe it or not, the masculine men feel that the effeminate men's behavior isn't manly. The effeminate men are referred to as "queens" and their mannerisms is referred as "queening out". I knew a masc gay man who attempted to knock out all the effeminate men he saw.

If two masc men are together, they'll decide who is penetrated. Some men are 'total tops' which means they only give, while some are 'bottoms' which means they only receive then some are considered 'versatile' and that means you both give and receive.

There's so many moving parts.

I was on reddit once and there were a number of gay people on their who hated the concept of "gay pride" and parading around and whatnot. The rationale is that if your gay and want to be accepted just act "normal". No need to prance around celebrating that your gay. These aren't my opinions as I don't care one way or another, just paraphrasing what I thought was Interesting.

I'm a transexual. But I rarely go by that. I go by woman.
It's a legal process with changing your name, gender for ID, birth certificates. You have to go to the DMV, get licensed professionals to write letters (stating that you are truly trans and have lived the life publicly for at least a year and can handle it), have your old name and new desired name in the newspaper for like 2 weeks. It's kinda humiliating for some people but it's worth it.

My mom a case manager for Kaiser permanente she deadass called me a couple months ago and told me to make sure I see some baby pictures before I have sex with any woman.

She was so serious too.

Transgenders have their own case managers and counselors at her facility now. It's that many of em.
