you getting caught up in the wording...dont be fooled by shyt that says the 'real' ending....they are just alternative endings/extra game play that got cut...compare it to cut scenes/alternate endings like with movies....the devs are just wording it the way they do to get more people to buy it...people would be quicker/more willing to buy 'the real ending' instead of game play that didnt make the cut....so dont worry, this isnt a trend...

Mgsv has them and it hasn't affected how I play the game.

This. Micro transactions never bothered me one bit because I don't buy a single one of them. I've never felt like I wanted them and I never felt like I was missing out by not buying them either.
