I'm going to have to agree with this. People like to talk a lot about things they don't know. Like someone said before in this thread, You get in and use the military to your advantage like any other opportunity. Im in the military and my job isnt to go around shooting people, hell if I ASKED to do that they would tell me that its not my mission. I live in a foreign country, am earning work experience, and I have my school paid for and will have a bachelors while being debtless by next year. If and when I decide to get out I should be able to use those skills to find a decent job. I think the issue here is you guys need to redirect your hate. Start looking at the reason why Vets can't get jobs and how you can help rather than knocking them for joining in the first place.

Ultimately, is that what we're doing? Yes. But nikkas have all kinds of reasons why they join and every person that I've been stationed with who's decided to get out is doing Ok. Stop watching those "Army Strong" and "Accelerate Your Life" commercials.
