Like the breh said, it's about the alumni base, and about coach k's connections. The connections he has with other big wig shoe companies like Nike, what he can do to showcase your talent, the fact you're on TV almost every game, how he prepares you for the league mentally...etcI don’t.
Kyrie has been on campus in the off-season in classes numerous semesters. Ingram, no. Some others have as well.
Posters don't realize how active the Duke alumni base is. It's probably has the most active non-HBCU alum base since they realized that they had to change it up for their Black grads in the 90's after seeing a high failure rate in society transition so they doubled down their efforts and completely created a network to benefit Blacks who aren't just from other nations with connections before they come on campus. That's just for Black folks.
Cam Reddish will have a chance to prove it. These two are so young at this point.
