Traffic is too busy during the day to be having to take long ass detours that makes everyone coming back from lunch late. It makes no sense whatsoever.
Road workers should work at night instead of during the day.

I agree. I hate when you try and go somewhere on the weekend thinking you gonna get a break from traffic and then folks out there working on the roads and the shyt is even worse.
I think the real reason is because everybody has kids and/or wanting to work days.
