There will be a market for retro LeBrons but it won't be anything like Jordans. It was smart for Kobe to look past the conventional retro concept and give consumers additional reasons (performance) to buy his new, old stuff.
At the end of the day, the designers play a role in sales as well. Jordan's simply look dope (The OG's). And after he retired, the brand took on a life of its own. Millennial who cop jordans never even seen him play with the Wizards, yet alone when he was with the Bulls.
