I hated this movie first time I watched it. Thought it was fukking stupid. One night I came home smoked a spliff and it all just clicked. Now I can watch sober/blitz and it’s just as funny.
Give it another shot.![]()
I listen to a lot of his podcast and that is actually the first thing he brings up when discussing politically correct shyt in comedy, he has been doing it for years so of course he was gonna bring it up when he finally got the man itself in front of him.I dont like Joe Rogan. Brings on a prolific actor like RDJ and of course asks him about some anti-politically correct shyt
Of course it could still get made today. And the movie sucked anyways.
Solution: View it all as entertainment. Allow artist to say/do whatever, hold them accountable for actions outside their respective platform that blurs line between reality and entertainment
Result is no more concerns about who supporting what for whatever reasons...who being cast to depict...equal outrage for all stereotypes/degeneracy outside of entertainment...easy to identify hypocrites that support behavior from their fav artist they otherwise claim to be against
@ all those garbage 2000s comediesRight-wingers have reduced his role and that movie Blazing Saddles in to some anti-pc crap, while simultaneously missing the overall anti-racist commentary.
