Here go the Jay stans ONCE AGAIN proving comments guys always make about how they never compare music and always compare riches.

Its kind of sad when you think about it.

I assume Mariah>Aretha because of riches. Keep thinking that way. Lol hip hop never learns.

What's funny about this thread is... while Nas fans are in here popping jokes about Camel... they forget to realize that Nas will never even have the chance to be at any of these events. :heh:

Jay was actually at the inauguration event with Obama while Nas was hoping the check from Hennessy would hurry up and come so he can get his cable back on to watch it... :ooh:

Jay is probably gonna be on stage or in the press box at the Super Bowl watching his wife perform while Nas is hoping to still get that cable back on while dodging his ex-wife's calls... :russ:

If I had to choose between Jay's life and Nas's life... I think Camel would have to be the answer. :youngsabo:

I hope you're trolling with this post. :russ: And where were you at while Jay was doing all these things? You're calling people stans when you're over here talking about who's life you'd rather live between Jay and Nas :what: you sound just as stupid as the Nas stans that you're dissing. nikkas dissing legends lives while posting on a message board.

Haha, assuming I'm a Jay stan b/c I mentioned Jay in a post in a Jay thread... makes sense. I guess. :snoop:

I don't care about their money. Both will be richer than I ever will. But to make fun of Jay not being known by folks at an inauguration event when to even be at an event of that caliber is beyond an honor speaks volumes to how far people on the Coli will go just to get some Camel jokes in.

You can't have it both ways.

Let me guess this straight.

Folks can clown Jay left and right on this board, from Robert DeNiro calling him out (which has nothing to do with music), his clothing and appearance (which again, nothing to do with music), his percentage of owning the Nets (which again, nothing to do with music), and everything else under the sun...

But when something gets brought up about Nas... and I mean ANYTHING... then it's time to get the capes on and explain why we shouldn't ever talk about ANYTHING other than music when discussing these artists.

The double standard on the Coli when it comes to Nas (and Jay to a certain extent) is one of the funniest things I have ever seen.

being on this board long enough, the same can be said about both artists, there is no double standard because they both get tons of hate, there was an FNM movement and even a smartenupnas.com website. Like I said, you can't call other people stans when you wanting to choose who's life you'd rather live between rappers, what type of elementary shyt is that. That's on some my dad could beat up your dad type shyt. You're getting so riled up over some clowns making Camel jokes, and whats the first thing to do, insert random Nas stan diss:skip: it's a contradiction both stans do when it comes to these rappers, Jay stan brings up Nas being in massive debt, and paying child support, and his random L's of the week. Nas stans bring up Camel Jokes, and bring up Ether which happened more than ten years ago. Just saying you sound just like these stans you're bytching about.

You rlly think the communities of the innanets dont hate Jay way more than they hate Nas? :aicmon:

Rlly??...Rlly?

Reality check...the innanets love to ride for the underdog and hate Jay Z because he is the total opposite of that.
Why do you think all these conspiracies are created revolving around him?
To give some sort of convuluted account and justification for their hate of the man.

Dont gimme dis "they're both hated the same amount around here" bullsht line when that is far from fact breh:scusthov:

When it comes to Nas and Jay, Nas is the innanet hero and Jay is the "top of the totem pole" villain

All of what you typed is appreciated. But trust me, I ain't getting riled up. :beli:

All I'm saying is... the things these folks get dissed about very rarely have to do with anything concerning music outside of Ether (and to some degree, Takeover/Blueprint 2).

So maybe I'm just falling in line with what the Coli does but just pointing out how folks like to play it. That Nas endorsing Henny thread was enough to show me how people will ride for anything Nas does here no matter what. Even making up excuses for why he endorsed it... it's that serious.

So, when in Rome... :yeshrug:

True about the Nas endorsing Henny thread, but there has been similar threads with Jay, this one for example, the one on sohh where people defended Jay for selling crack 60 hours straight. They both have their over the top stans, just pointing out how crazy it is for one group to diss the other group, then do the same thing they dissed the other group for doing. It goes both ways.

Jay-Z apparently isn't ready to forgive and forget when it comes to fellow NYC heavyweight Robert De Niro.

Last November, during Leonardo DiCaprio's 38th birthday bash at the Darby in Manhattan, the two reportedly got into an argument over a song Jay-Z had agreed to record for De Niro's Tribeca Film Festival, but didn't deliver. According to a source for The Daily Standard (via Vanity Fair), "Jay-Z went over to say hello, [and] De Niro told Jay that he never called him back."

Fast-forward eight months, and Jay-Z still hasn't dialed De Niro, with the rapper admitting as much during an interview with New York-based radio station Power 105.1.

"No, I haven't [called]," he said. "I treat people based on who they are, who they really are, not the name, not 'Robert De Niro,' but who you really are as a person. It doesn't matter who you are; everyone has to be respectful."

We like to think that somewhere, presumably while looking at himself in a mirror, De Niro snapped, "You talkin' to me?"
