Robinson's entry into MLB occurred during the early stages of the Civil Rights Movement. His success challenged stereotypes about African Americans and demonstrated that integration could work, providing momentum for broader civil rights efforts. He also paved the way for other African American athletes to enter professional sports, contributing to the gradual desegregation of other institutions and industries. Jackie Robinson wrote letters imploring Dwight Eisenhower pass civil rights legislation.

I'm sorry, but i can never take a swirlers opinion on racial politics seriously.

Seen way too many "my wife is black" type cac go straight klansmen after a break up.
And too many brehs on that "im one the good ones" type shyt with their partners.

Mfers be taking characteristics about their ex partner and putting that hatred of them on other people who have it who got nothing to do with them just because they share a characteristic. They taking "you remind me of my ex" to a whole different level.

Eh. I get what Robert Griffin was trying to say. I think he was saying that Jackie Robinsons achievements should not be politicized and did so without thinking that it was a much a political achievement as much as it was a social achievement.

Don't get me wrong I disagree with RG3 and maybe be he didn't the gravity of that historic achievement and it did help set precedence for policy moving forward.

That's a lie. RG3 only made that dumbass statement cuz SAS and Mila went off on the DOD about the issue on ESPN. So Rg3 was saying not to talk politics on sports shows.

Politics and sports have always been intertwined. Hell hitler tried using the olympic games in germany to showcase cac supremacy only for Jesse owens to show dat black excellence.

This isn't due to swirling. Brehs have the same mentality when it comes to anti -Black male feminist theories. They spout them off like they're "one of the good ones".

It's a lack of pride.

“Breaking the color barrier in baseball in itself is not political,” Griffin said. “Jesse Owenswinning 4 Gold Medals in itself was not political. Jack Johnson becoming the 1st Black Boxing Heavyweight Champ in itself was not political. They all had political ramifications. They all challenged the status quo of racial barriers to fair play, race relations and civil rights. They shouldn’t be used as an excuse to push political agendas on sports shows on national television to an audience there to consume sports content.”
What TF is cornball brother talking about. Who TF is using these folks as a political pawn piece? He really needs to expound on that part.

It’s the fact that he only said it after espn hosts went off on the dod and administration.

Why didn’t he say anything when it was first removed and politicized by trump
