This man is employed by the Lakers:snoop:
we been knowin that nikka was never fond of kobe tho :heh:

This the type of nikkaz our idiot organization hires. Horry gon always get a pass for the work he put in as a Laker but nikkaz been known he was on Shaq's side during that whole era. lol, you give Kobe a front office as stable as the Spurs and the same HOF coach for his entire career and he gets 8+ rings.
Hearing the revisionist history going on after kobe tore his achilles has been :russ: THey prop up Gasol and a bum kneed Bynum to diminish what dude did going to finals 3 str8 times with that team. Practically the weakest championship team in the past 10 years.

Well duh:dahell: the only people that wouldnt take kobe are his stans that have an emotional connection to him. Most of us with sense would take Tim and Pop in a heartbeat

:wtf: is this guy doing in the booth seriously?
He has a mouthful of marbles, I can't even understand what he's saying half the time.
I remember last year, Kobe was awful and totally shot them out of a game like he had done many times before. Usually they gloss over it or wildly twist it into a positive, saying he had great confidence to keep shooting when he was struggling. Instead, Horry ripped into him viciously and said he needed to move the ball. He wasnt in the booth the next few games and I thought he had been fired.

Unless it's Jordan, you're ALWAYS going to pick a dominating big over a guard

This.

As far as the Phil Jackson/Pop comment...I've always maintained that Phil is the GOAT at maximizing the talents of Superstars. (If he coached the Thunder the past 5 years, KD and Russ would have at least 3 rings.) But getting the most out of a team from 1 through 15 or building a team..Riley, Larry Brown, and Pop are all ahead of him.

Pop takes average players and gets them to max out their one strength (i.e. Bruce Bowen & defense, Danny Green & shooting) and turns each of them into formidable chess pieces on a championship squad. Its no surprise a non-Superstar rather play for Pop.

He played with Kobe when he was in his early 20's. This doesn't exactly mean much, since he was a lot more immature in those days. If you're trying to create a dynasty you go with Kobe:lolbron:

Treats everyone the same. Wonder if current day Pop would have been able to deal better with having Shaq and Kobe on the team. My guess is he would have dealt one of them.
