Eye Cue DA COLI GAWD
<--- Cleveland Browns winning that many, boi!
You made a couple good posts in this thread but this isn't one of them.No special insight, though I bet in a month or so there will be pieces detailing his financial downfall, which still hasn't been entirely confirmed, but here's my timeline,
2002: He is charged with child pornography, and he is still a major, major star, with hit records everywhere, on the heels of TP2, in the run up to Chocolate Factory.
2004: Legal bills are like trying to stop the bleeding from a dozen cuts, he must have paid over a million, if not several, over the course of 2002-2008, he was probably barely hanging on by 2008, as his star power faded, his last successful record was in 2003, with Chocolate Factory, at least if I recall correctly.
2008: So, he in a professional hole, and then goes through an exhausting trial, in the run up to the 2008 Recession, likely lost money in home equity and any market portfolio he may have had. He beats the trial, has spent most of what he had to do so, and is now in the twilight of his career. No more hits, he doesn't own his music, he can only tour, and do shows. He is also a tainted brand, falls further and further into relative decline.
2019: Fast forward 10 years, a bizarre lifestyle with too many homes, and the general disarray of men like Kelly, and DMX, and he's essentially destitute, only to be hit with lawsuits, and the new felony charges in Chicago.
Y'all need to stay out these star's pockets SMH
