I always thought Hollywood Shuffle would be Townsend's most memorable movie, but its really The Five Heartbeats. I still can't get over how poorly The Five Heartbeats was received by critics back in the day. I just checked Rotten Tomatoes and it still only has a 39% critic score.

Meteor Man was one of my favorite movies as a kid
Never really found him all that funny as a performer. But he had some good movies,that wouldve been better if he hired funnier performers than himself.
