Prolly Byrd cause I get the feeling he's gonna try and get paid this offseason. I love Byrd tho .. he's a clubhouse guy and everybody loves him. I love Young's speed and how hard he plays too tho .. so

Convincing Cano to leave the Yankees should not be difficult. All Cano has to do is recognize the buyers remorse that is leading the Yankee front office to deal with Rodriguez like this several years into his contract.
The hate extended to A-rod can easily be transferred to Cano in a few years when Cano's production drops AND/OR they want to free up a few million dollars in 2017-2018.

I cant see us going anywhere near the length that they did for Pedroia. Would you pay .. say .. 25 per for 4 years for Cano, if that's what it would take to get him to Queens? (If he were to settle for 4 years) Remember .. Johan and others are coming off the books. I think we'll have somewhere above 40 million free this upcoming offseason. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong)

Cano is gettin at least 150 mil. It would be nice to get him, but we need some outfield help more. I wish these idiots would of traded Byrd and got a B prospect or two, but if they sign Choo then I'm cool. This team is unfortunately a year plus away from being serious. We still need to wait for for the pitchers to develop, so it's best to get players that won't cripple our finances or our farm system.
