:pachaha: I came in here thinking people were going to be lifting cars and shyt like the suit batman wore when he fought Superman. :wtf: I do chest flys with 65 pound dumb bells.

If this was really true these Asian cats would be truly f*cked when they catch a flat tire. :heh:

What are these Asian cats made of, milkweed? :mjlol: If your strength multiplied by a factor only allows you to lift 60 lbs max, you are weaker than most American woman. I've been to Asia, them cats ain't THAT weak. I definitely agree with @Blackking, it has to be a typo.

From my experience, Asian guys don't have much in the way of physical strength. Where I go to the Gym, sometimes I see a group of Chinese and Indian guys working out, and they struggle with bench pressing the raw bar, and can barely curl 10lbs weights. That's not where their strengths lie. They are built for mental tasks not physical tasks.

And, It's one thing to lift 60lbs during a weightlifting exercise. It's another thing to lift 60 lbs and safely carry it across a warehouse or while working in a construction site.

.

:beli: Dead weight is dead weight breh, there's no difference. what would make it different if objects are bulkier difficult to handle. Obvious a square 60 lb 1x1 metal block is going to be a b*tch to carry as opposed to two 30 lb dumbells. But think about. I think a queen sized mattress weighs 70-90 lbs, perhaps even more. So you REALLY think asian cats can't pick up a mattress? :dead:

They're working towards 100kg capacity...220lbs.

I've worked at all three of the cited shipyards. :ohhh:

I know plenty of Asian males who couldn't pick up a mattress.

The fact that I am Asian has nothing to do with reality of the world that exists outside of my person. Pure objectivity is the Goal at all times.

Yeah, that lift. Think about people who are drawn to lifting. They usually already have a good foundation to build upon. The Average Asian guy is not that strong. Sure there are plenty of Strong Asian guys, but they were either born that way or they have trained hard for a long time.

I see a lot of ripped-up Asian guys too. They question is-- how many standard deviations are these men from the Average? Because the Average Asian guy is 5'7 140 lbs and very skinny, and that is what I have learned from living in Cities that had Asian population densities of a maximum of 50% of the total population.

to a 140 lbs Asian guy that is probably a lot.

You're not thinking about the strength enhancement that YOU would received from such technology. If you're already putting up 3 plates for sets of 15, then an exo-suit would make you much more strong.

From my understanding, these things work by multiplying your base strength by some factor.

I was watching a video of a ballet workshop held in China. The male dancers couldn't lift the women. The American instructor was exasperated but the guys thought it was funny.

Japan produces world class figure skaters but can't find men who can lift a woman. One of the adult women only weighed 75 lbs. Some women have given up their Japanese citizenship in order to skate in the Olympics with a foreign partner.

The US Postal Service requires its workers to able to lift 70lbs.

The black race would benefit greatly by having a similar viewpoint as yours. Sometimes people let race/cultural sensitivities distort reality. :obama: :salute:

That's way more impressive, because the average American ain't doin' that :obama:

Doing that shyt for 8 hours straight takes a toll. Since its china is probably moar like 13 hours

I thought it was Korea no? I defer to @Idaeo 's experience, but from what I know at ports most of the heavy lifting is all crane and forklift, since 99% of the sh*t is palletized. I would bet the "heavy lifting" is mostly unloading consolidated shipments of personal goods all day. I worked UPS part time in college for a month, there was a lot of moving 30-100 lb packages around, it was a light workout to be honest. I just don't agree that Asian guys are so pathetically weak. I was in Vietnam for a minute, I used to marvel at these guys unloading containers by hand that in the States we would unload by machine :wow: Maybe that's the machine's capacity, but trust me Asian guys aren't THAT weak.
