At the end of the day, Guerilla Union/RTB phucked up. Major. I respect the indie hustle Guerilla Union has, but they just aren't working or/and thinking in a professional mindset. Because of that, I think (sadly) they just won't be able to compete with all of these corporate owned festivals that can actually get shyt done. This might be an indication that not only can they not get their stuff together but maybe a hip-hop festival of it's magnitude is just destined to never be as big as it was due to a change in the habits of hip-hop fans.

I felt like they announced all of the info for the line-up for the festival literally weeks before the dates of the events. Who the f*ck does that? All the other festivals announce the event dates, lineup, and ticket info a month to a year in advance. If anything, that just makes me think that the actual events (if they would of went on) would of just been pathetic and riddled with problems from the get go considering how late they were to even announce a line-up and promote it was. When it came to festivals, Rock the Bells has just lost my interest over the years not only as my tastes changed, but in their (Guerilla Unions) ability to even get a good line-up together and actually get it done. Why else are the dates announced so late now if they just can't get anything 100% done?

Maybe it will still go on, but only in California. Where it started.

Yeah, they'll be back next year. Hopefully they can take into consideration what people like us are saying on sites like this and fix the problems this year had.

And you're ALL hilarious self parody of an angry insufferable wu-nerd, :salute: to living up to every corny stereotype a name like MC Metaphysical would suggest...if only there were more of you they wouldn't have had to cancel the show...y'all let Peter Rosenberg and the Wu Tang Clan down

Who exactly do you wanna see and think RTB that can afford for at least 4 dates?

I think this year it was just bad timing as far as the east coast goes.

It'll never die here it is a summer ritual for most of us now.

But even out here, at one time, they fukked up and it almost disappeared same way. They didn't really promote the show right, they didnt secure a good venue like they had afterwards, and acts were flaking. I remember the year they had it in the parking lot of Angel stadium they promised Kanye and The Likz reunion, none of which happened.
