It's so important in this era, with drawing money becoming a lost art, for these guys to save the business and put on an example for the young guys to follow, as opposed to following a guy who can't draw 2.7's consistently.
^ classic match, it's underrated imo. Bell-to-bell action with a hot crowd and believable main eventers.
^ GOAT training montages
If they built it up right and got crossover media, it'd be the biggest draw of a pro wrestling match since Rock vs Hogan now that both guys are bigger stars than they were the first time.
You can talk about building the future and the young guys and all that, but that takes the writers giving them their own interesting storylines or the wrestlers themselves working to get over to happen. We're seeing now with CM Punk that just building the show around someone doesn't make them a star.

And you talking about sending a bad message and trying to use that as a excuse for a company where Vince makes fun of Jim Ross for face ailments and then projects "Be a Star"? Are you serious? Rock and Brock Lesnar are bigger stars than anyone in the WWE. Always will be. How simple is it to put the biggest stars against each other again like they did at WM 17 and WM 18?
