Guess you never heard of LeCrae? Big KRIT? Tripp Lee? Most cats on this board don't really listen to what they represent, but I'd call them 'motivational' way before Rocko would get that title.

I would think this is for cats who are familiar with his work and could give an opinion on why he's not at the top of rap or atl rap for that matter.

Then reduced what you had to say.
By posting some offkey, one syllable to two rhymin underground rappers.
With no real content, character, clarity or direction rhyme to rhyme, line to line.
You just like them cause you self equate their experience to them.
Who are no more significant an upgrade to what rocko does in his arena than they do in their's.
That is the reason why people can not take the standard criticism of people trying to downplay one rapper for the next.
As their taste is synomous to the same old outdated sandwich.
In the genre's they favor.
As the gangsta rappers they generally criticize.

You have to do better to talk better.
Those dudes are standard offkey rappers.
With poor outdated engineering, and production
With offkey outdated flows,..that bite everything from standard emo raps to busts rhymes on the coming and early souls of mischief phesto and opio verses mixed together.

Considering there's only 2 people in here arguing on his behalf, that's a pretty good indication that not many of you know who this dude is or care, so coming at us for offering critiques as to why this is the case just solidifies the fact that....​

that is a lift off of the racks future written flow mixed with Gucci mane's, I got all of that.
With Drill music horrorcore base trap music style production.
which is not a far sonic stretch in execution.
From, the sweet spot of the commercial market at this time.

It is not a hit because of actually being a great submission of rhyme.
It is a culmination of the sum of all its bite heavy parts.
Which extend, from rhyme, production, timing as a release, pr, and payola.

I don't know sumthin about em just never stood out to me,I heard his debut and one of his mixtapes/features and wuznt that impressed....I actually fuked with Shawty Lo more.... to him for bringin us Young Dro and Future who do stand out in this game.....I would say he's that Fat Joe type of rapper,put out solid work,can drop hot singles here and there but not really superstar talent rap wise....him and Joe are pretty similar actually yet Joe gets little to no respect

Good to see he's writing his own shyt if he is,I actually assumed he had sum nikka behind the scenes writin for em and kinda assumed Future after hearing how hype Rocko wuz about Future before anybody really knew of em,but now that Future doin his own thing its clear Rocko can hold his own weight and still releasin music

I totally agree, Rocko is not that talented as a M.C. but it seems as if he excels promoting/marketing other artists and providing production work. I wouldn't even compare this dude to Fat Joe (rap wise), Fat Joe is actually an above average M.C. and possibly/maybe his career could have been much more successful (he actually had a pretty good run at one time) but we all know that sometimes there are other issues or politics that take place within the music industry that aren't just based on a hip hop artist/groups talent alone.

It is about rocko not factually being a dope emcee or even a marginally good rapper.
You can not make all the post you made.
Then, post some unfocused non-content driven poorly mixed outdated no mic presence based rappers you posted.
To validate your stance, and act as an alternative.
That first act you posted is not an alternative.
It is the same low skill wackness in the underground.
That Rocco is considered in gangsta/mainstream/trap.
What you posted was an actual lower skilled version in their genre.

Where rocko is rated higher in his respective genre.

That is why people who listen to mainstream rap.
Ignore people's criticism, because most do not have their comparative skills or their argument solidified.
Let alone knowledge of the other genre's to qualify to speak on another genre of rap.

Rocko, gets by on a region being able to revenue grab with inferior material.
The group you posted gets listens.
As their fanbase is so stubborn they have defied actual culture themselves.
