Never heard about anybody trying him out there or questioning his street cried. The only con I see with him is that rapping doesn't seem to be his passion and its almost like he treats it like a hobby..

But he is underrated in my opinion

DEF JAM offered him a renegotiation deal after the "umma do me" single blew up....but ROCKO stays bossed up....he opts for JOINT VENTURES only..

which is why his A1 Recordings is INDEPENDENT..and he puts people on like FUTURE cause he knows how to develop talent better than the majors and offer better deals than the majors like he offered Future with his FREEBANDZ movement which is a joint venture as well...

I've listened to a few of his tracks and couldn't really hear anything I haven't heard from 99% of the other 'rappers' that are 'hot' now. He reminds me of a lazy Jermaine Dupri.

Nor, is his debut a classic.
It features indepth content that speaks well to a rudimentary dumbed down era.
I will give it that,....
Yet, he never and wil never make a classic.
As his lyricism is grade f level.
Below giving him a pass, for just being a dumbed down skill trap rapper.
people like his story or personality.
Yet, that will not will make up for his low grades as a lowly skilled non-proficient rapper, or even a vocal talent.
