Rock is one of the most hardworking cats out. I will continue to say it.
Paid his dues in the ring, respected his peers, loves his fans. Hes got all the recipe for success and it pays off.
In a world where so many ex wrestling stars end up like Flair and Iron Sheik, this is truly phenomenal. My hat goes off to him and anyone else out there modeling themselves after this kind of success. Look at my nikka Batista, I already know he looked up to Rock and took notes.
And to think so many people out there was on that man back in his early Post WWE years. "Oh doesn't care, he sold out!1!11"
He slightly shut out wrestling and WWE for a reason. Dude had to put in that work and find his way outside of WWE. Gave yall slight teasers of greatness
Hyping up Trump vs Vince, HOF 2008, Smackdown 10th. Teasing fans in the media and interviews about some sort of a return. Hyping up Guest hosting RAW.
Now look at him. Finally made his return 4 years ago, and put the two biggest things in his celeb life together. He took his old wrestling success and combined it with his newfound success in Hollywood. Thus, created a global superstar brand for himself all over again.
And the nikka keeps on rolling. Killing it in the WWE. Giving fans matches and promos, Special appearances. Still being an ambassador for the company even though he doesn't have to. Plugging it on SNL and shyt.
The nikka getting great roles, and killing his part in them. Making hella money, working with Spike, USA, TNT and HBO on various TV projects for that market.
Will he ever be a leading star or get an Oscar? Who knows but that doesn't take away from the good the man is doing or himself. Hes created a cool lane for himself and if he never steps outside of it, so what? His formula is clearly working out.
Always gotta be that one (or two)
nikkas just can't just respectfully give props and keep it moving.
