Everybody picking Woodson is doing the old school nostalgia bullshyt. Nobody played the ball on the air better than reed, he also knows how to find the end zone better too

Would you play Reed 1 on 1 with everyones 1 WR with no safety help :francis:

Rod spent his best years as a corner. It's an apples to oranges comparison.
I don't see why they can't be compared.

If you ranked the best athletes of all time, it's obviously comparing apples and oranges trying to contrast Michael Jordan with Muhammad Ali.

If you rank the best basketball players of all time, you're obviously comparing apples and oranges trying to contrast a guard like Magic to a center like Shaq.

Suddenly with football there's a problem?

I didn't ask who was the best corner. Or the best safety.
I asked who was better.

Frankly it's a fair question.

A corner has totally different responsibilities from a free safety. It's the same type of reason that the Troy/Reed comparison wasn't a good one. Their skill sets were complimentary, not overlapping. By the time rod switched to safety, his best years were behind him and while he was a great safety, he wasn't as good as Reed was.

And a center has different responsibilities than a point guard.

I appreciate all the opinions toward Rod and Ed.
But to act like its an unfair question is, I think, unfair.

Theyre different positions. Just because they're both defense doesn't mean it's a fair comparison. Come on man.

So when someone here makes a thread asking who the best player in the NFL is, do you all throw your hands up and call bullshyt because Tom Brady can't be compared to Von Miller??
