I've been around TSC for years too, and I don't ever remember a movie thread. What does that have to do with anything? Just because it wasn't mentioned in TSC, doesn't mean it's not iconic. "I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick ass, and I'm all out of bubble gum." If you grew up in the late 80s/90s, you know this quote just from this movie & from Duke Nukem.

Also, the long ass fight scene from They Live is pretty memorable.

And now we're talking about it. What's your point and how does that prove it's not an iconic movie quote? The fact that they took the movie quote and put it in Duke Nukem, arguably the most iconic video game from the 90s, should be fact enough.

The "Kick ass and chew bubblegum" quote is a movie CLASSIC. There's no denying it. People may not know where it originally came from, but it's definitely a classic.
