I thought about it today..all the wrestlers from the classic eras, 70s-90s, they're old white guys born between 1950 and 1970. They've all called someone a racial slur at some point. People forget this "ending your career for saying ****** or fakkit or jews" thing is relatively recent. 
Piper has definitely called at least one person a "******" in his lifetime. Wasn't there also a rumour that he was on his Bambatta/Birdman batty man steeze, traveling with a boy (like Ma$e)?
What wrestler who was HOF status never was racist, beat their wife, cheated on his wife, abandoned his kids, or was a junkie? You either gotta separate the man from the wrestling character or you're not gonna have any wrestlers left to like
