there was something quite odd but refreshing for him to be a rapper from Compton and have no typical Compton rapper tropes forced into his music. if he never mentioned where he was from you'd have had no real idea.

this was the first project i listened to from him even though i seen couple peoples opinion i trust praise this kid a while ago.

he can craft a song, clearly has a following and him being with DC/Meek should open up to more people.
will be interesting to see where he goes from here.
