I can see how folks assuming it Hankerson taking away from Roddy but its actually Freeman and the ascendance to the throne of Julio who is getting more touches. Hankerson is just filling in for the Harry Douglass role. Roddy has just been the alpha dog in Flowery Branch since Vick left (Ryan should be but...), and he is just in his feelings that he is towards the end of his run.

He is the goat WR this franchise has ever seen and he will be in the Hall of Fame, but i know it eats him up that Julio is going to be better than he ever was and probably will be a Future Hall of Famer. Roddy is on that bubble

Let's keep it reality tho. Hankerson does have the second most targets on the team and he's in the system that he played in in WAS under the same OC (Kyle Shanahan Jr). Hankerson for all intents & purposes is this team's #2 WR now...I can't really say Freeman b/c he's only been our starting RB the last 2 weeks. And Julio & Roddy are like brothers, there is absolutely no jealousy between the two of them. They've been very close since Julio was a rookie

Roddy just wants some catches but he's in a new offense and he's probably the 3rd best WR on the team at best...it's gonna be tough for him but like @The ADD said on the podcast despite this rant, not much is likely to change

Makes me question that fumble he had against the Panthers in the playoffs last year.That play basically iced the game for the Panthers....since he loves the Panthers so much

Roddy aint going nowhere. He is sure handed and dependable, you can always use someone like that on your squad. He just wants to catch the ball, and really if you are a pro athlete of course you want to be more involved in the offense. If you have a receiver that is cool with not receiving the ball then you have a wasted roster spot. And with the whole blocking issue, Roddy has been known to be one of our best blockers since he arrived in Atlanta so you know he has no problem taking care of that.
