Yo

“As Stone emerged from the courtroom, he raised his eyebrows and flashed a half-smile at reporters waiting for him in the hallway. A few minutes later, before leaving the courthouse in a black Honda SUV with a rideshare driver who looked baffled by the swarm of TV cameras and reporters, Stone was asked if had had any comment on the verdicts.”

:dead: at calling Uber. Homes must be completely out of money. This brings me great joy.

How did he not have the same kind of assets Manafort had? They were all law partners in the 80's. I know Manafort went into business with oliigarchs, and Stone did weird things, that must have not been as profitable.

He isn't looking at more than 5 years, is my guess.

So the witness tampering and obstruction is not worse than Manafort's charges? Also, is it just me or do federal crimes get less time than state crimes? Or is just the fact that they can afford expensive lawyers and that gets them a sentence near the low end.

Fed crimes are 90% though. The state give you credit for time serve for the weirdest things. Don’t rape someone on the sabbath: 4 months off. Beating someone at the bottom of their feet: 3 months off.

its the difference between offering up your wife and having your wack ass suburban home raided. Maybe he felt the condos were not worth it.
