I was sitting at the crib yesterday when I got the slickdeals notification. I went and copped the Premiere for $19. It works extremely well for my particular local setup. My only complaint is they cheaped out on the remote so it needs line of sight to control the box.

We really need a tech deals subforum for stuff like this. I get great deals almost weekly on Slickdeals but don't bother to make threads cause it would get lost in he shuffle.

Yeah I plan to use the app. I use the firetv app for my firetv boxes out of convenience and still prefer the physical remotes more.

The Roku app may be used out of necessity cause or how my tv is set up in my spare room.
