I still hate what they did in the draft. If Devonta Smith and Micah Parsons are beasts, it's gonna look even worse.

If Hock or Swift go down, they aren't gonna have any weapons on offense. I don't know if that's a vote of confidence that Goff is their guy going forward for a few years no matter what. If they draft a QB next year, they'd still have to find playmakers on both sides of the ball.

Quinn did them NO favors but I wish Holmes would have started addressing that this year to get the ball rolling.

Most excited I've been to watch a bad team. Finally a real rebuild. Not "bring in a bunch of 28 year old vets who played for the coach at his previous spot and understand the offense/defense." The security is young as fukk. They're gonna fukk up a lot, but the experience will be valuable and pay off next season. The d-line looks solid, and I feel pretty confident that they'll play better than last year. Hell I think the defense in general will be better than next year, even if the stats don't bear it out (because I expect the offense to be horrible and mean the defense doesn't get the rest it'll need). And the edge pressure will make the secondary look better.

Offense...I think it's gonna be bad. We got two TEs and I don't see Hock being healthy the entire year. WR corps is trash. Swift getting banged up would completely stall the run game The only real depth is on the o-line. But I'm not mad! Hope no one gets any serious injuries. And next year during the draft it's gonna be easy to shore up the depth with a WR in the first 3 rounds, TE somewhere in the draft, etc.

Losing Decker for a month hurts but I'm curious to see how this plays out. Sewell is looked as a generational LT so it's a good test to see how he fairs against Nick Bosa

Plus this is a rebuilding year so I'm not expecting too much. Hopefully it's some development from the young guys for once.
