he’s as I said. He ain’t good enough to carry a team alone. But he’s too good to easily find his replacement. Clearly a upgrade from Goff but not the fukking mvp they tried to make him last week.

They were at the very least good enough to win a division title, especially considering the fact that there were years where the other teams were missing their starting qbs.
In 2014 they did. They had one of the top defenses in the NFL and a hall of famer top WR in Calvin Johnson as well as a really good WR in Golden Tate. All they had to do was beat Green Bay and they would have had a first round bye and won the NFC north I believe.

That 2014 team had a pro bowl QB, 2 pro bowl WRs, a pro bowl DT and safety and a top 2 defense in the NFL. It's revisionist history to say that wasn't a great roster because they did what the Lions typically do and snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory.The lions never had a great roster

Wearing Lions gear when it wasn't cool
The defense was great. They held every team under their season average for points. Even the games we lost in 2014. That defense caught lightning in a bottle. Offense underachieved that year.
Just thinking that it's pretty damn bad that we are such a dog on national television. We might get smoked.
