Not a good example........South Carolina has not beat Auburn since the 1930s and they're in the same conference. They haven't won anything of note except a weak East and some bowl games since they've been in conference.
That's what I'm trying to tell @BelowTheMasonDixon but he won't take off those SEC colored glasses.

Dude said the conference wasn't tuff TOP to Bottom

But South Carolina would finish 2nd in the ACC

South Carolina lost to Missouri that got rolled at home by Indiana. Thanks.

IF the SEC is the best conference like that, put its champion in the playoff. Putting 2 or 3 teams in a 4 team playoff? That's where the bullshyt starts. A conference should only have a second team in the playoffs only in an outlier situation.

The way they talked about USC u would have thought they are the only team in the history of college football. Remember that bullshyt tournament they did putting USC against the all time great teams?
Yeah it was sickening. It's even worst when they do it for a whole conference, when actuality its really 3-5 teams and not the whole conference.

You thought it was bad with one team, imagine it with a whole Conference.

It's not my fault we are the best conference and yall don't wanna admit it. And I never said we deserve two in every year.

But there will be years the best two hell maybe even three teams are in the SEC, and no other conference can make that claim.

So if not winning a championship is the criteria for be a noteworthy team

How many PAC 12, ACC, BIG 12, and BIG Ten teams have won a championship in the last 20 years
I'm not the one pumping Conference pride. shyt I know the ACC ain't strong. The problem is, people want to crutch the whole conference off of what 3-5 teams have done over the last 15-20 yrs.

That's you pumping UGA and USCe up as if they did some shyt. I'm just here to tell you they haven't done shyt.

In college football conferences only play each other after the non conference schedule ends. Auburn played at Kansas State, other than that, SEC teams played weak non conference schedules this year, so you can only judge these teams against each other. That's why you select it's champion. Like Alabama, what makes them any better than Michigan St, Oregon or ND this year with that schedule to this point. Past glory?

nikka, do you not understand. I've given the teams that deserve the credit their due. My problem is the rest of the Conference piggy backing off the real teams...lol

im actually surprised with the power 5 conferences there's only 4 playoff spots.

lets say these teams win their conferences florida st(ACC), ohio st(Big 10), kansas st(Big 12), oregon(Pac 12), and ole miss(SEC).

somebody ain't getting in.

The SEC is a lock.

The ACC is a lock as long as the Noles don't lose to anyone other than Louisville.

The battle between the Pac12, Big 12, and Big 10 for 2 spots is where the shyt hits the fan or if Auburn and Mississippi State win out setting up a scenario where only 1 spot is available for 3 conferences.

if miss state wins out, they are the only sec team in. everyone else would have at least 2 losses. miss st winning out is the best case for those other conferences

Georgia is a college football institution easily one of the most notable programs in College Football how you gonna say they ain't done shyt. Like Georgia is Iowa St or North Carolina or some shyt.

TYRONE GA!
but what if a 2 loss team won their conference?

it should be 8 playoff teams

2 losses should be auto :camby:

What I was referring to was leaving a 1 loss conference champ or Notre Dame out to make room for a 2 loss SEC Champ

8 teams is what we'll get after this. The Power 5 Conference Champs and 3 at large to cover their asses for the underdog conferences.
