Yeah but you literally said you don’t think it’s absurd that she has three albums on the list.If I disagree with the opinion, then I disagree with the opinion. Finding it absurd is a matter of semantics. If I don't think an album should rank that high, then I don't think it should rank that high.
What's crazy is the whole sentiment that a "Missy album" shouldn't rank that high and not naming the albums. If you haven't listened to the albums, you don't really have a valid opinion either way. Why? Because you don't like Missy, you're dismissing her work and making it about Missy and not the music.
Yeah but you literally said you don’t think it’s absurd that she has three albums on the list.
So it’s not just semantics.
Why can’t you say her album at #7 is absurd?

Illmatic was a super-hyped albumPosters really in here fuming that a Missy album is Top 10, but ain't saying nothing about a lot of the other albums that are on the list. Even crazier is people calling the rankings revisionist history vs how the albums were received in real time. No album was considered GOAT the moment it dropped without it being a knee jerk reaction. It's plenty of albums that are more revered now than they were when they dropped. I have no gripes about Illmatic being considered GOAT, but we all know it wasn't received that way in real time as it was criminally slept on. It's not even my favorite Nas album.
