What's funny is that I bet these people were forced to put albums revered by black people on the list (i.e.: wu tang, raekwon, 2pac, illmatic). I doubt these folks genuinely appreciate the music or understand the lyrics.

Also music that has homophobic lyrics tend to rate low on these lists. Very obvious that this is agenda-driven.

Someone posted the picture of all the pasty crackers in the Culture Council. Does any of them know what the fukk Ghostface is saying in Apollo Kids or One? I could go one and on, and officially rating it only a 3.5 out of five on the website but calling it the11th best hip hop album now? I promise they haven't personally listened to half the list in between all of them. You suck Missy Elliots dikk FOR NO REASON but there is no mention of Da Brat anywhere.

I think it might be for the purpose of destroying hip-hop as an art form

they're re-writing history... they're downgrading all of the classics that show true poetry

I put my account on the line that The Booth's list would be trash. Only way I could see it not being trash is if @DANJ!, @spliz, and some other reputable posters who weren't biased oversaw the list.

And yeah, this list is high level trolling... and it's not even necessarily like there wasn't a lot of good and great albums throughout the list... but the placement and order of the albums was strictly in the interest of being fake-controversial and getting people to talk about it just like they're doing now. Then you add that to the fact that 13 white folks that look like hipsters and 2 black people who might not be that plugged in themselves curated it... there's not a lot of credence you can put into this shyt. Rolling Stone would never have 13 blackety black nigros judge 200 rock albums... so their need to have such a square ass council making this list is egregious.

Yeezus is bad IMO because only 5/10 are actually good. One of the songs that I consider bad is one of the worst songs that I have ever heard.

What makes it a bad album in your opinion?

Its left intentionally empty and imperfect and nearly 70 to 80 percent of the lyrics are just stream of consciousness egoistic nonsense. The biggest problem though is this is when he lost his rhythm on the mic. WTT is both underrated and overrated at the same time, but on that album he was SPITTING, and frankly he GOT Jay on most of that album. This however was the start of his descent on the mic, and for what its worth I LIKED Pablo.

I'm fairly the recording process was the beginning of 'let me record the whole thing in two weeks with no sleep and get back to this other shyt that I really wanna do', which is his fashion line.
