Yeah only thing I can see is artists now putting way more money on production, rehearsing, dancers, staff members etc.
But, stadiums finally taking hip hop into consideration to adapt their sound to the genre is amazing...cuz hip hop doesn't really sound the same in a stadium, they made that shyt for rock and pop

without the corporate windfall behind that battle this couldn't be. That squabble permeated every aspect of national media ... that kinda exposure has nothing to do with quality (and im not sayin kendrick isn't providing quality, to be clear)

I disagree--I think that the beef blowing up as big as it did, and people really getting behind K Dot in it, has everything to do with kendrick's long track record of quality music and performances. And the esteem from both the public and the press that comes from that.
