The irony of this is just sickening when you think about it. A major reason for his struggles with the crowd is due to a wrestler's (perceived) struggles with a debilitating, life-altering condition, which caused him to relinquish the world championship and possibly never wrestle again. Roman works through that, is finally (seemingly) established as THE top guy in the company...only to be diagnosed with a debilitating, life-altering condition which causes him to relinquish the world championship and possibly never wrestle again.

My grandfather's an Army vet and went through two cancer surgeries a couple years ago. He's alright, but even now he's required to take loads of medicine everyday to simply keep it down.

I know his actual name is Joe, but I actually have a brother named Roman so the news is haunting, if not a bit scary to me.

All and all, cancer's no joke. Thoughts are out to Roman and his folks.
