Incels is gonna have dolls but the aunties are gonna lose their savings to A.I. con artists.

The Tinder swinder just got busted Again AFTER the Blockbuster movie.

or worse, somebody pretending to be you asking your grandma for money
People will fall for that as people move thousands of Miles away but damn you should actually call her one time to make sure.

voice changers been around for ever
yes actually go visit Grandma.
We may have to start using two-factor authentication with real life people. Something along the lines of calling, emailing, and face timing relatives as the final check.

It should be equally effective for interpersonal relationships as it is for corporations. It's highly unlikely that a hacker has your grandmas email provider, phone company account , and icloud account hacked at the sane time.

If you wanted to be extra with it , you could even have security questions for aunty and em. Something along the lines of "what type of cake was served at uncle Ben's wedding back in 08'? " :pachaha:

yes actually go visit Grandma.

My grandma got scammed last year. 419 from naija created a fake Facebook profile pretending to be one of her friends and added her. They claimed to have made a lot of money through an investment and said all she had to do was send Amazon gift cards. My grandma started sending gift cards frequently. It wasn’t until she asked me to go with her to the gas station to buy another gift card and explained what she was doing that I realized it was a scam. Who knows how much money she ended up losing.

my grandma was adamant she was talking to her friend, I told her to call her friend and her friend had no idea what was going on.

This is so sad because the economy has shifted from providing real value through goods and services to siphoning money from those who are desperate and gullible.
Y'all better make sure the older people in y'all family don't fall for this.

Next time you see your grandma she going to say she in a relationship with Keith Sweat
Tonetalks been emphasizing the need to coach family members about online scams. Most are either young and naive about the world, or old and grew up in a higher trust society that didn't have as many scammers.
