You can't trust white voters...the majority don't even live around any other races of people. I know because they try to gaslight us when called out for being racist, and act like they don’t know it’s racist. They even get mad when other white people get called out for being racist, because they know they’ve done and said the same things. To them, that’s normal behavior. Remember when social media got big, and folks started seeing our white friends saying racist things, and they acted like it was “suddenly racist”? They want to be racist, without being called racist.

White people as a collective cannot be trusted to vote conscientiously. They'll deny being racist until they're red in the face and then turn around and vote for a David Duke when no one's looking. I'll never forget the day after Trump got elected and seeing so many of my white coworkers feeling comfortable enough to admit that they voted for Trump. These were people who smiled in my face every day. People I ate lunch with. People I'd regularly crack jokes and bullshyt around with. Whites can pretend all they want but a good number of them are truly afraid of losing their position of of privilege and will use electoral politics as a weapon to maintain white supremacy. They'll do this even if the policies they voted for have a negative impact on them. The bottomline is that many don't want a multi-racial democracy in which ALL voices are heard and respected equally.

This is something we don’t talk enough about when it comes to elections. Politics has become theater. We’ve had character presidents for a long time now. Clinton was the male harlot, Bush Jr was the slow one, Obama was the cool kid, Trump was the bully class clown, and Biden is your senile grandpa who calls you the wrong name, and thinks his mashed potatoes are ice cream. DeSantis has the looks and attractive wife, but he’s all business, and his jokes aren’t funny. He almost seems like he’s speaking publicly for the first time every time we speak. Ice Cube doesn't understand electoral politics. If he did he wouldn't be making this argument that's out of touch with the times that we're living in. This isn't the 90's or 2000's anymore. We're not dealing with two parties that can be equally negotiated with. No sir.
One party is a coalition party made up of old school Republicans, moderates and progressives who ALL believe in upholding the tenants of Democracy.
The other party has gone completely rogue, wants to abandon Democracy and usher in the 4th Reich.

We aren't in a time in history to be doing bothsides bullshyt. Either you want America to remain a Democracy or you don't. The choice has never been so simple.
