Im not laughing at shyt. I watched CNN damn near 10 hours a day in 2015- 2016. My job has a giant tv on our wall. As the Republican primaries were coming closer, it was nothing but Trump on tv. There was a report, I can't find it right now, about the about of free public media Trump received. It dwarfed every other candidate. And there's a direct correlation btwn air/ad time and winning the Election. Obama rode the same wave.
DeSantis is different. No one takes him seriously, he getting ignored, and Trump still exists. Most importantly, this fukk wouldn't know what to do with more attention

I was like many people that originally thought he would be a threat to Trump. Then I realized he's going to get destroyed.
DeSantis whole gimmick has been being the MAGA Prince. The problem is, there is only room for the MAGA King which is Trump. If DeSantis attacks Trump, or acknowledges that Biden won the election fairly, The MAGA base turns on him. Some have already turned on him simply for announcing he's challenging Trump. Trump is immune from criticism among Republican voters. DeSantis won't have enough non MAGA Republican establishment support to overcome that because that will be split among other candidates.
Trump is likely to get indicted in Georgia, and by DOJ for stealing classified documents. He might also get indicted for January 6th. Each indictment is going to make him stronger with the MAGA base. Because what bonds them together is white victimization. When Trump got indicted by NY, his support and poll numbers increased.
Meanwhile Trump is going to attack Ron for his stupid fight with Disney which led to Disney cancelling a $1 billion dollar project investment that chased away 2,000 jobs from Florida. He will also attack Ron for his position on cutting Social Security when he was in Congress, and how people in Florida are paying high property insurance. Its like top 5 in the country. And then he'll of course troll him and make Ron look like a joke.
Watch what happens on that debate stage in August. It will be very surprising if Trump don't embarrass and destroy DeSantis. He views him as a threat. So he's spending all his energy into taking him out.
