It's easy to say that about Kobe now in hindsight. Those years immediately after Shaq proved the so-called Kobe "haters" right. The team was mediocre as Kobe played hero-ball ala ai/tmac. The Lakers didn't win a playoff series until 4 years after Shaq left. They didn't become good until The Lakers brought Phil back and actually built a championship team around Kobe. Kobe didn't "carry" those teams to rings. Stop it.

The main difference between Kobe and kyrie is that Kobe is a legit 6'6 and kyrie is maybe 6'3. Kyrie' body will not hold up for a full season plus playoffs playing hero ball as the #1 option. He doesn't even have the game to be the #1 option on a title contender minus a coach like Phil and a supporting cast like the one Kobe had in LA for his last 2 rings.
