Probably the fact that Cr7 is a pretty boy. Ronaldo was a brute on the field and would go through people like nothing. Getting his jersey pulled wouldn't stop him you'd have to legitimately foul the guy to stop him. As for Cr7 stick your leg out when's he's coming at you and 9/10 he'll fall over act hurt than bytch at the ref for a card. I like cr7 he's my favorite player still playing today and believe the reason his career didn't fall short from injuries is because he did flop and didn't take the hard foul.

Yeah pretty much. It's these guys careers and just like us we take precautions so we don't get fired. Slide tackling may not look like it hurts too bad (it doesn't hurt as much as some players make it seem regardless a player is one slide tackle away from a career ending injury) but there's a reason you can't trip with your legs in American football.
