I don't believe this one bit

Ronaldo ain't trying to spend his remaining years in Torin and Juventus cheap asses are not paying no 100 euros for anybody :mjlol
especially if they haven't sold their best player for the fund
Ronaldo wants out of Spain and is hurt/betryed by the tax shyt.

Everyone should not sleep on how happy Nike would be to have Ronaldo back with them on club level. Checks gonna be cut.

I don't doubt for a second that he'd be going back to United if Mourinho wasn't there.

Can someone explain transfers is he making 100 million ?

they don't do trades or swap draft picks
they just pay money to acquire the rights of the player

The salary juventus will pay ronaldo is another number entirely

Real Madrid will use that 100 million to buy the rights to a new star (or several)

No, in this case he would be transferred from Real Madrid to Juventus in exchange for 100 million.

When you sign a contract with a team, they hold your registration rights. Kinda the same way that signing with an NFL team means they hold your rights as a player. But, since there is no limit to where you can decide to play soccer, you're not as bound to your contract in soccer as you are in American sports (unless you play in MLS, but that's a whole other story entirely). To facilitate a transfer, all three parties involved have to agree. The buying and selling clubs have to agree to a fee, and the player has to agree to joining the new team and the contract he's being offered. Individual players have much more agency in soccer. Contract lengths are there to help protect clubs from losing value on a player, since they have so much power to move if/when they want to.

Ronaldo's latest contract was signed in 2016 and runs until 2021. It made him the highest paid player in the world, until last summer, when Messi and Neymar received new contracts from Barcelona and Paris St. Germain. Ronaldo's contract also includes a 1 billion euro buyout clause, which (if paid) would allow Ronaldo to walk out away from his contract and sign elsewhere. His "true" value is not 1 billion at this stage of his career, but a buyout clause must be inserted into every contract per the Spanish football association's rules, and the sum itself is more of a "fukk off, we don't even want to negotiate" type of deal here.

I suspect that this is Ronaldo using Juve to force Real Madrid's management to give into his latest contract demands, which would be in the neighborhood of 35 million euros per year. The number is somewhat low based on what he can command on the open market, since footballers also can make a lot of money on the side selling their "image rights" (really just their brand) to sponsors and companies, or incorporate their brand into their club contracts, which then pays them more though the club in exchange for using their brand to promote the club. Ronaldo's image rights are (ironically) owned by a guy who owns a distantly rivaled Spanish club.

He probably wants them to help with this tax evasion thing too.

Sorry for the wall of explanation above.

Juventus ain't cheap, they paid 90 million for Higuaín.They are starving for a CL trophy.
His wages are not going to be anywhere near the numbers he earns in Madrid but they can pay the fee.

They were only able to afford Higuain because of the Pogba sale.

Juventus, or any italian team for that matter, doesn’t have bread like that to spend.

Pretty incredible after all that’s happened how juventus have turned their fortunes around and both Milan clubs are floundering right now.

They way they came back from the relegation for match fixing is incredible.
They got Tevez, Pogba, Pirlo, and Vidal for less than the cost of Torres

Reputable sources are now reporting the transfer :whoo:

But they're saying it's a £88m offer which is low regardless of Ronaldos age
