Look at Tyson... He believed he was great but no one had to tell him but Cus. Tyson didn't even give af when he loss because he felt like he could've won if he had tried. Tyson was actually a good humble kid until cus death, the fame, drugs, mental illness, prison, false rape accusation, etc., settled in.
And even when he loss he didn't shell up, he was still feared because you knew at any given time he could knock you smooth tf out no matter who you thought you were. Even now people still feel that way deep down about him.
Ronda quit as soon as Holly destroyed her (and she did destroy her) but they still gave her a chance to redeem it. But Nunez was a real dog who was just basically beating on the wounded. Now shes acting in wrestling where matches are decided beforehand. White people and stupid MMA stans gassed her up and she fell into depression like mostly every white hype

I'm not going to downplay Rousey, she had impact. But no way she should win that award over Serena.
