Dallas is really falling off fast for reasons @who_better_than_me alluded to. They could fukk around and miss the playoffs, the Suns will be 3 out of 7th if they beat the Wizards. If the Thunder can ever stay healthy and go on a winstreak...

That backcourt of him and rondo is really bad in the fourth especially in close games. Rondo seems a lot more hesitant than usual to shoot in the 4th and teams are 100% playing him to pass, so it reay hurts the mavs and Monte when monte goes to play iso ball, rondo is unguarded on the perimter.


Carlisle is a great coach but he needs to adjust. Break up rondo and monte on the court together less or something cuz rondo is pointless on the court off the ball. He doesnt even cut.

The mavs have become a lot more easier to defend

He played solid defense on harden tonite. Defintely bothered/irritated him tonight. He can tell rondo to push the tempo more. They need tondo out there cuz dirk and parsons are not helping chandler out on the boards and rondo is a very good rebounder.

Mavs werent winning anything with jameer. I understand the risk but Carlisle has to make adjustments. Im enjoying this though as a rockets fan.

I haven't had a chance to check the game yet, I will after I finish this Celtics one.

Rondo doesn't help out on the boards, he doesn't bang the glass at all. The majority of his rebounds are scoop-ins off missed shots when the opposition is half way up the floor i.e padding his stats. It's quite pathetic for Rondo if his impact has now been lowered to 'the team needs him for his rebounding' isn't it?.

Nelson was certainly a better fit: he didn't dominate the ball, could knock down open threes in swing ball situations and allowed Harris to have more game time to develop rhythm on a consistent basis. Dallas were straight before the trade and were beginning to figure out shyt on the defensive end, this trade just ruined whatever chance (as minute as it was) of competing for a championship.

I didn't think he'd be THIS bad in Dallas. Contract year on a really good team and he's completely shyt the bed. They need to bring him off the bench so he can handle the ball more and start Harris.

@Dwight Howard was in the trade thread saying the trade was unfair and it should have been vetoed because Dallas was stealing Rondo.
