Wow great thread for a number of reasons. Meth is easily the more talented rapper but in 90% of the their collabs redman absolutely outshone him. As a fan of both I was like naaaw it's just how high etc but red always gets method on some imma outshine my main man type ish competition.


Anyways that being said and yeah its really really really close I have to give it to dare is a darkside In terms of when it came out. But in terms of aging tical aged better for some reason. I hope thay makes sense but to me these are 2 often overlooked albums that people considered disappointing.

If you were in the moment with the releases it's Dare Is A Darkside, then Muddy Waters. If you've never listened to either, I'd start with Muddy Waters though. Dare is a drugged induced dark grimy record, while it's his best album, Muddy Waters is more easily digestible.

Dare iz a Darkside and Muddy Waters are my two favorites. I still haven't listened to Whut Thee?
