Eminem '99-'03
Lil' Wayne '04-'08

...are the only 2 that can be considered based on skills, catalogue, impact and influence.

Not a single one of tip's albums are better than either tha Carter II or III imo. No disrespect to ti but that's when wayne was on top of the game

I agree Carter II is better than all Tip albums but Trap Muzik, Urban Legend, King, and Paper Trail all>>Carter 3

Kanye, Eminem, Joe Budden (Talent wise), Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole those basically it for the most part these guys have more good songs than bad. Had hits or main stream success either consistent or not. Special mention goes to Tech N9ne there are guys I see rising up the ranks or forging a legendary status but for now this is who I think can hang with the best.

I still listen to The Carter from time time, the second one was cool, his third one was ehhhh, I feel like he spit his best verses on his mixtapes...
I don't follow Lil Wayne like that, T.I. is pretty consistent in terms of dropping quality albums

Only elites from this era IMO are Kanye West, Drake, Lil Wayne, and Rick Ross.

The consistency from the above 4 artists are up and far away from anybody else
