It’s not possible to know if Rory sent anything to ak. Any jbp or ak fan coulda did that cause they know they hated each other.

Pretty much everything Rory and Mal said…i pretty much believe them.

What i got from it was that Joe was lowballing them when it comes to payment and he tried to hide it from them. So Everytime they asked about looking at the books he would spaz out and try to get them off the scent.

In a nutshell just narcissistic shyt.

Mal also alluding how Joe lowkey has issues with Ice and/or Ish is quite telling too.

Mal made it clear that Joe is the star of the show, which is why he deserves the amount he's getting. But Mal and Rory add to the show because of their chemistry together.

That's not overvaluing yourself. That's just being real. Being the star of a show don’t mean shyt if you don't have a team that can make the show happen.

In Joe’s mind, he paid them more than they were ever warranted so the constant asking of seeing accounting was offensive. It’s like going above and beyond for a shorty, and her asking to go through your phone.. and when you shut that down, her logic is that you must be hiding something. We’ve all been in that situation


But on the flipside, if your pay is based on percentages and you don’t even know the total revenue that percentage is based on, you have every right to ask questions. It’s like the UFC giving Connor 12% of PPV revenue, but they only send him check and tell him the PPV numbers are none of his business... like huh? How do I know this is 12%? Show me ... All he’d have is their word at that point, and in his mind.. if this really is 12%, you shouldn’t have a problem sharing the PPV numbers with me. The fact that you don’t want to is a little sus


At the end of the day, I think Joe is still at fault for overreacting the way he did. That airing out episode he did was unnecessary, didn’t have to take it that far.. now we kinda at the point of no return

The numbers were higher once Mal got on. They even started touring. This idea that he doesn't need people is insane. Joe was seen as crazy and emo for fukking years and the pod rehabilitated his image more than anything else. Even ES got a boost once he started talking about it. Joe is the most popular, both Rory and Mal agree, but this idea that the success lies solely on Joe is nuts.

I think when they say it isn’t about money, it means they don’t want “more” money. It is about money in a sense but not greed per se. they just want accounting to see if the numbers match.

I still stick to my guns, I've been arguing all day about this shyt and like "Ziggiy" said last page... I just dont see how it came to this, and they "didnt want to audit or sue Joe" because they were friends
I would have sued Joe before he could light a newport. I noticed in these threads it just turns into a celebrity worship thread instead of a common sense discussion. What I want to know is how did they figure out the 400k? was it recent as in the past week or 2? Joe said he got that to them and its taken care of... Is that also true?
I'm exhausted from hearing about this shyt cause it turns into people riding or hating on people involved and none of them matter situation wise.

Seems even more weird that they came back, then left again if they knew they were shorted 400k at the time. All of this shyt could have been avoided completely 3 months ago if they just went to their lawyers and pressed to sue. Seems like alot of public bullshyt for no reason honestly. I always said all 3 are going about the shyt wrong.
What Joe did was nasty but all 3 of them took a heavy L from this. People wanna play sides and blame me for my opinion when all you had to do is have your legal team ready on all sides. You'd have to be wild dumb to just feel like being friends made shyt cool. Thats why it makes no sense when people say Joe is nasty as usual but also say Mal and Rory should have known that of course they should have known that... my lawyers would have had Joe on speed dial. You're just gonna let him run around on pinky promise and shyt? that proves my whole point of having your legal team ready.. they got their legal team ready and got the 400k , its not about morality... its about are you gonna go get your bread or not? They said themselves they were supposed to see the books quarterly and Rory was like "shyt I just want to see them annually fukk it" that's just a terrible way of looking at how you should be paid accordingly. Stay on top of your paper and this never happens in the first place.
